The Route

The journey kicks off in Campione, on the shores of the majestic Lake Garda. From here, the road hugs the lakeside, carried by the breeze and offering up breathtaking views at every turn: dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters shimmering under the sun.

Leaving the blue of the lake behind, the route climbs along the SP9 – a winding scenic road weaving through forests and valleys. Tight bends and rolling stretches make it a rider’s paradise, leading all the way to the charming Lake Idro: wilder, more remote, and perfect for a refreshing break in nature.

The ride continues toward Riva del Garda, where the vast Trentino lake once again takes center stage.
The final leg traces the lake’s edge once more, with postcard-perfect landscapes, sunlight, and the wind in your face.

And if the legendary Strada della Forra is open, it’s an absolute must.
A road carved into the rock itself – narrow, dramatic, and totally breathtaking. With gorges, tunnels, and heart-pounding hairpin turns, it’s one of the most stunning roads in all of Italy.

A must-ride for anyone who lives for the thrill of the road, epic landscapes, and unforgettable vibes.

Important note: Campione is an exclusive and secluded destination, nestled between the lake and the mountains. The entrance is located inside a road tunnel — slow down and keep an eye out for the dedicated exit. If you miss it, you’ll need to continue through the tunnel for a short distance before you can turn around.

Tip: Leave early so you can arrive relaxed and fully enjoy the experience.

All you need is a foil board, a light wing, and a bit of wind to discover a whole new way to experience the water — that’s wingfoiling.

The intro course, organized by Garda Kite School, is perfect for those looking to get into the sport in a direct, safe, and exciting way. It’s ideal for anyone who loves trying something new, testing their limits, and feeling totally connected to nature.

How does the course work?

1. Technical Briefing
Once on the boat, the instructors will walk you through the basics: how to hold and control the wing, how to balance on the board, and how to use the wind to your advantage. A hands-on approach designed to make you feel comfortable from the very start.

2. Water Practice
After the briefing, you’ll hit the water with your gear. Starting on your knees to get a feel for the wing and the board, then—once you’ve found your balance—you’ll stand up and begin to ride, guided by your instincts and the wind. Your instructor will be right there with you, offering guidance and support.

3. Ongoing Assistance
The lesson takes place in a small group setting, with personal attention throughout. Each participant gets real-time feedback and tips tailored to help improve their technique.

And if the wind’s not on our side?
No worries — we switch to Plan B: the Wakeboard experience. You’ll glide across the water, towed by a boat, carving through the waves with splashes, turns, and loads of fun.
