Kayak champion, natural explorer and Scrambler® ambassador, Maxime has always chosen to chart his own course — on the water as on the road — guided by curiosity and by that sense of freedom that defines not only the Scrambler® world, but also his way of life.
We asked Maxime what „adventure“ means to him, and what role it plays in his everyday life. With great spontaneity, he replied that adventure is all about the unknown: curiosity fuels freedom, and from that comes the adrenaline-filled emotion that has always driven his pursuits. Whether paddling his kayak or riding his new Scrambler® Full Throttle Black, Maxime is constantly seeking new landscapes to explore, experiences to live, and authentic emotions to feel. The principle remains the same: choosing your own line and deciding how to live the moment.
Between water and asphalt, the similarities are greater than you might think. When facing rapids and big rivers, precision and focus are key. But there are also days when it’s enough to paddle calm waters, letting yourself be carried by the landscape or the company. The same goes for riding a motorcycle: some chase curves and speed, while others prefer to simply enjoy the ride. The one true constant? That unmistakable feeling of being alive — perhaps the most beautiful one to chase.
His passion for two wheels has been with him since he was a boy, and when he discovered the Scrambler® world, it was love at first sight. A free spirit, timeless style, and the pure joy of uncompromised riding.
And then there’s a dream that’s ready to take shape: loading up the bike with his ultra-light kayak, setting off, and discovering new rivers along the way. “Being able to design Scrambler® accessories made specifically for this would be incredible,” he tells us. “It would maximise the adventure possibilities… and let me add a personal touch.”
His next big adventure? Iceland, August 2025. With his competition kayak, he’ll take on wild rivers and lunar landscapes. But first, Slovenia, Bosnia, Macedonia… and every single sunny day spent riding his Scrambler®.
