Land of Joy

More than a motorbike. A way of life.

The rebirth of a legend

In 2014, an independent brand unit was created at Ducati’s headquarters in Borgo Panigale with a clear mission: to bring back to life an icon of the 1960s.
The result was the new Ducati Scrambler: not just a motorcycle, but a whole universe of values based on freedom, style and irony. A perfect blend of heritage and innovation, marking the return of a legend in a completely new guise.

A beach in Borgo Panigale

In 2014, even before the official launch, Ducati transformed itself into a Californian beach in the heart of Emilia. An internal event, exclusive but full of excitement: for the first time, Ducati employees witnessed the world premiere of the new Scrambler. Amidst real sand, surfboards, food trucks and rock music, what came to life was not just a motorcycle, but a new brand philosophy, destined to inspire a global community.

THE FIRST SKETCHES

Welcome to the Land of Joy

From the sand of Borgo Panigale to the stage of World Ducati Week, Scrambler begins to speak its own unique language. Between music, customisation and unconventional experiences, something more than just a motorcycle is born: a community, a lifestyle.

Radio scrambler

At the heart of the Scrambler revival, Radio Scrambler was born: more than just a web radio station, it is a true soundtrack for the Land of Joy. A cultural and musical project with selected playlists, original audio content and a unique voice to accompany you on every journey.

Days of joy

Since 2016, Days of Joy have been taking shape, unique days designed to experience the Scrambler outside the box. On- and off-road riding courses, good food, music and positive vibes have given rise to, and continue to give rise to, days of sharing in true Land of Joy style. These are occasions that allow anyone who decides to participate to understand what it means to be part of the Scrambler community.

Wdw 2014

World Ducati Week 2014 marked a key moment: for the first time, the Scrambler returned to the world stage. In a dedicated area, colourful and unconventional compared to Ducati’s racing mood, what would become the new soul of the brand took shape: welcoming, relaxed and incredibly cool.
